“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.” – 2 Corinthians 9: 12-13NIV

A note from Jair and Norma: Our hearts are full of gratitude and love toward all who have supported us for many years. A special – THANK YOU – to those of you who sent a monetary gift to bless us during our retirement. We are very grateful! We pray and have faith that God will continue to bless our family and Vida Nueva Ministries. THANK YOU!!!

ICOM

During November we had the pleasure of attending the ICOM in Lexington, KY. We were able to catch up with friends and celebrate Jair and Norma during a small ceremony held in their honor. While many did not know that we were pregnant, Eli and I had the misfortune of suffering through a miscarriage on our way there. It was a tough time, but we are at peace with the loss of our child and grateful for the care we received.

School Update:

The home of one of our students had an electrical short that cause their home to burn down. While no one was hurt, the family was left with nothing. Our school came together and raised money, and donations (of all sorts) to help restore some of what they have lost. We thank God for providing, and never abandoning us. We are proud to be a ministry that comes together with the community to help others.

The high school building is under construction – praise God!! More updates on that soon.
