It was with joy in our hearts that we celebrated the retirement of Jair and Norma Castillo. On November 3rd, friends and family from near and far gathered at the Ejido church to show our appreciation for their years of hard work. We shared anecdotes, thoughts, memories and wished them well in this new chapter of life. We love you Jair and Norma – God Bless You!
Towards the end of October we had our yearly VNM Board Meeting.
It is always a blessing to be surrounded by our board members. Our prayer is to always follow God’s will for the ministry.
A mission team from First Christian Church in Columbus, IN spent a week with us during the month of October. Missions teams always hold a special place in our hearts, and their visits bring us so much joy and motivation. Among other things, this group was able to build much needed, shelves and bookcases for our classrooms. We are especially grateful for the generosity that FCC has shown toward Vida Nueva, and pray that our partnership will continue for many more years.
Next week we will be traveling to Lexington, KY to be at the ICOM. We hope to see you there!
