October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Vida Nueva Ministries would like to express our gratitude and love toward all the pastors who have influenced this ministry. We are especially grateful for work of our 4 church plant leaders – Jair Castillo, Gonzalo Garcia, Sergio Ontiveros and Israel Camara. Between them, there is over 70 (combined) faithful years toward fulfilling the great commission. Also, Sergio and his family celebrated their 15 year “Acapulco Anniversary” in September! Thank you and God Bless our pastors!!!
School Update:
September was a month of Mexican patriotic celebrations. The school had an Independence Day Festival with the participation of over 300 students and parents. The festival had signing, a pet-costume competition, and lots of delicious food – great time all around.
We have completed the first two new classrooms for our middle school. This month we will complete a new bathroom for the boys in the elementary school. We will also be working on remodeling an area to make space for a new preschool classroom and an administrative office.
Eli and Mandy had the opportunity to visit several churches and VNM supporters in September. We pray that God will allow us to continue developing and nurturing relationships that assist us to further ‘Break the Cycle of Poverty thru Christ’ in Mexico.
